Fly a Haitian Kite Day

HaitiXchange caught up with the people who participated in “Fly a Haitian Kite Day” in Manhattan’s Riverside Park. Haitian kites were flown in solidarity with the people of Haiti. All kites are made in Haiti, and money raised will further Kylti’s arts and cultural projects in Haiti and internationally. Other kite-flying events are to take internationally.
