HaitiXchange forum member “LVuitton_chic” posted a very interesting documentary about White Haitians, showing that identifying as Haitian is more than merely skin deep. HaitiXchange caught up with the people who participated in “Fly a Haitian Kite Day” in Manhattan’s Riverside Park. Haitian kites were flown in solidarity with the people of Haiti. All kites are made in Haiti, and money raised will further Kylti’s arts and cultural projects in Haiti and internationally. Other kite-flying events are to take internationally.
Unfortunately, Sarodj Bertin, MIss Haiti, will not become Miss Universe as she has not made it past an elimination round in which 15 contetsants were chosen to go onto the next stage. Sa’w panse de sa? What do you think? Di Sa’w Vle!
