I’ve been in Haiti for only 2 weeks and invited a friend over to my apartment after being in front of my laptop for a tiring day of working on various projects. Thank you to the thousands of people who watched our live video feed of Kanaval 2013 from Cap-Haitien. As we trek back to Port-au-Prince, please enjoy some pre-recorded segments before we post pictures and video.

HaitiXchange and Digimotion Group have partnered with PNCS to bring you Kanaval 2013 live fom Cap-Haitien.

PNCS is the Haitian national entity which has the sole responsibi​lity of regulating and controllin​g the school feeding program. It was created in 1997 and has since then allowed thousands of Haitian students to receive at least one hot meal daily. Today the Martelly/L​amothe government has at heart kids education and this program has permitted 8 percent more kids to attend school. The goal this year is to serve 1.5 million students throughout the country.

Google Search Results for Haiti Fixed

After months of erroneously listing Haiti’s president as “Sweet Micky”, Google search results have been altered to correctly show “Michel Martelly”. Although it was displaying correctly for other countries such as Canada, it continued to display as “Sweet Micky” , his stage name, for the United States for over a month. We urged people to use the Google feedback link to report the error, and are happy to say that our latest search shows that it has been corrected, and the world can be a better place.
