Really stupid. GUAYUBIN IS NOT PART OF HAITI. IT BELONGS TO MONTE CRISTI, THEREFORE WHAT YOU SEE IN THE VIDEO IS DOMINICAN SOIL. THE HAITIANS ARE ILLEGAL MIGRANTS BUILDING HUTS IN ILLEGALLY TAKEN LAND. Obviously, the desire of accussing Dominicans of genocide is an obsession with certain individuals in Haiti and the international community. The incident was caused by the murder of old Dominican peasant by an illlegal Hiatian migrant. Sad events, but the victim was Dominican. Those who wrote the note did not care to translate the Spanish. Why? Simply, because they want people to confused and hate Dominicans as if we were nazi actvitists. Stop the Haitian presence in DR and you will not see such tragic events.
Ayitilights, shame on you for promoting hate and violence. Those incidents DID NOT TAKE PLACE IN HAITI and the news is from a couple of months ago.
Questions: DOES ANYONE HAVE A DOUBT AS TO THE OBJECTIVE OF ANTI-DOMINICAN PROPAGANDA?
The sad part is that Haitians and their international allies will get what they want. You guys are making the possibility of Genocide a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Leceista, the OP of the video is not a fault to repost something that was labeled as it was, erroneously as it is, how could he possibly know this beforehand?
As for a new video with the aim of misinforming and creating tension on an event that happened sometime ago and was investigated and prosecuted by the DR's authorities, will just provide a certain push for the DR's gov to take on the Haitian illegal in the country in the context of a National security issue developing.
Whoever is behind the videos and false headings, will have the reverse effect of creating a mass deportation of migrants back into Haiti. As if Haiti could deal with well over a million people to feed in short notice or long for that matter.
It's clear that the aim of the false video headings was to pt the DR in some sort of public bind in other countries, as provided with the last video (along many others already identified by the DNI of the DR doing the rounds in the internet) the DR is clear of suspicions already by the UN and all other countries that were alarmed by the earlier videos and last one pretending to have a Haitian civilian's hand cut off by Dominicans.
I'm afraid that the events unfolding will pressure the DR's gov to act firmly to satisfy the Dominican citizens on the onslaught of the smear campaign deliberately being pursued on line.
So far I spoke to several members of the military and internal security and the words going around is that orders from above will be made soon to repatriate within a short period all non-documented Haitian Nationals back to Haiti. Be it with Haitian authorities' aid or not.
The crisis developing in the US and already hitting the export sector of the country is becoming hard to avoid given the large number of undocumented Haitian workers in the country and the public services they are afforded at the Dominican tax payer's cost.
The DR's gov was very disappointed with the muted and displaced response by the Haitian gov to the last video hoax, that instead of investigating first the events behind the video a formal request from the diplomatic presence was made to the DR and no later news of support to the DR was offered to the international press once the video was proved a hoax by third party investigators, amazingly required by the Haitian authorities to clear their Dominican counterparts.
Things are getting very dim at the DR's gov in face of the lack of cooperation and trust by the Haitian gov officials to work in tandem to debunk the ongoing smear campaign against the DR.
Simply put, expect to see over a million people being deported back to Haiti in mass groups.
If Haiti ever really wanted to be partner with the DR, the window of opportunity is closing really fast and the effects will be unlike anything that country has ever experience before, especially with the current state of affairs there today.
If you think Haiti has problems, wait and see having to deal with the poorest or the poor arriving by the thousands each day seeking jobs, food, housing, healthcare, schooling, etc...
May God forgive the person(s) behind such campaign and if their aims is to bring attention to the issues faced by their countrymen in the DR, they're about to create a problem of epic proportions to the Haitian people and nation.
I think that if in fact the events continue to unfold as they stand the complete dissolution of Haiti as a nation is just around the corner without the need of any foreign nation to intervene and take over...

Do you have a date RPichardo or an estimated time period for this dissolution...I would like to plan my travels accordingly.....do share old friend.

The Spanish was not translated because it was from Primer Impacto, a show on a Spanish-speaking channel, not because they wanted English-speakers to be confused.

I did not post this as an attack on Dominicans. There are many topics relating to Haiti-DR relations on this forum, i thought it was something interesting and that is why i posted this. I have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. Maybe you should contact liveleak.com and tell them to provide translatios. Or perhaps contact Primer Impacto, or Univision or Telemundo, since this is where it was aired from onto peoples television screens.

It's clearly obvious this happened in DR and not in Haiti. If you knew what they were saying in Spanish then you would realize the heading in which the video is under is not correct. It makes you look really foolish for posting a video in a language in which you don't understand. There is an international campaign to defame Dominicans and its sad that people on this site are trying to fuel the fire with FALSE information. Before you post something make sure you understand what is being said. The heading doesn't always tell the story.
Ayitilights. Where does the actions take place? Say it. Primer Impacto made it clear it was DR. Dominicans never crossed the border. But you prefer to ignore that....Why??????????????

You know what? I don't really care on which side of the border Dominicans and Haitians are rioting against each other. It's a long and horrible story and both sides need to sit down and smoke the peace pipe.

The two of you represent the worst of Haiti. A lack of intellectual honesty that makes things just stupid. Listen, learn Spanish or look for someone to translate. The events took place in DR, not Haiti. No one crossed the border, but you insist in making Dominicans look like criminal when the only ones breaking the law are Haitian illegals. Since you insist on going on tangents, I wouldn't try to clarify anything. Your pathetic agenda is clear. Shame on you, both of you.

The Dominicans on this site have defame themselves by ranting on about the same subject over and over again....

And you, along with El Dominicano and Dominican-York, are a poor representation of your people...
