Oasis 1’s success took the Haitian film industry by storm. If you’ve missed the grand premiere of Oasis II, here’s your second chance to see the movie...for free!

HaitiXchange will be giving away 5 copies of the Oasis II DVD, as well as 5 tickets to the upcoming Oasis II screening in Miami, courtesy of Francette Agnant, the creator of Oasis I and II.

The contest has begun and consists of questions posed in the HaitiXchange forum (in this thread). The person who provides the first answer to each question will get to pick 1 prize of their choice from either the DVDs or the movie screening tickets (as supplies last.) Questions will be asked until all prizes are given away.

You must be a HaitiXchange forum member to win, so if you haven’t done so, please register up now.

Best of luck to all.

Pascal ( CoolP) Antoine and Barbara (Kreyol_Barbie) Saint-Cyr had an opportunity to interview Jeff Policard, lead actor of Oasis I and II.

Listen to the interview with Jeff Policard.

BOOYA!!

Haitian101 got the first prize!! Congratulations!!!

"It is a symbol of liberty, and was in fact called the liberty cap. This conical cap with no brim and with top turned forward was given to freed slaves in Roman times. Featured in the bishop's mitre and the Rosicrucians' hat, it was worn in the 18th century by French revolutionaries. In the US Seal Of The Department Of The Army, it is shown at the top of a swordpoint. Phrygia was an ancient country in what is now Turkey."

Please let us all know what prize you want (the DVD or the free screening tickets), and send me your real name and mailing information using the private messenger.

Good job (and fast too.)

The next question can come up at any time, so check this thread often!!
