What about "bouda" or "bounda"? LOL.

And some of the words in female genitalia? confused

I think bounda has to be African derived...because Brazilians and especialy Afri-Brazilians say the same word for ass or booty...I thought that was real interesting when I heard them saying it...and they also have Ogou in their voudou also...

I have two unproven theories for ZOZO

1. From zwazo (bird) remember we also use pijon (also a bird) to describe that same body part.

2. From Zo (bone) in Dominica they use the word BONE to describe it.

any ideas?????

I have never heard of the words in the original post but I will say I watched this documentary on Africa about 6 years ago and learned there was a tribe in the jungles of the Congo called Baka and they called themselves Baka because they believe their ancestors were to noisy in heaven that god punished them by sending them down to earth...in Kreyol Baka is something ungodly if I am not mistaking and when you are acting a fool as a kid your parents refer to you as a little baka

What is the meaning of the word ganmel???

"Ganmèl" is a container made of wood (bwa fouye). It's used to put food (bannan, patat, mayi, pwa, eksetera...), and the family members take from it to eat. Sometimes it's also used to do the laundry, but it's primarily used for food. Whenever you see a "ganmèl", you also see an abundance of food.
