you welcome McNr! wink

I also hope that this inspires Haitians to get their hands a little dirty instead of letting foreigners do all the work...

Thank you Kathy, WOW.
Just as the Dr Farmer got emotional at the end reading the thank you letter, I too, got emotional.
This is real, another young Dr at the age of 31, that could make a boat loads of money in the states, has committed his life to Haiti, and the poorest of the poor.
enfin......

We've for the longest time talked about how we can help, how we can make a difference.
In a pool where there are so many non-profits, and we've been wondering who to trust or to give to. Well, this one came to us, and I don't believe there will be any trust issue here, as they've been around for many years and have indeed touch many lives.

I just donated, Please join me in donating a few dollars and help Partners in health/Zanmi Lasante achieve their goal of providing health care to the less fortunate.

If you can't afford to I can understand, but if you're making excuses, please save your time and do not type anything, for it'll be an insult to both the ones that are on the ground making it happen and the dying patients.

Again Kathy, thank you for bringing this to light.

Thank you for posting this story, Kathy. I agree with you Patati, he deserves a nobel peace prize. I'm definitely going to do my part by sending my donations. I'm really inspired by this man's courage to help the poor.

I personally owe him a big thank you.
