Jan'm Renmen Ti Peyi'm-nan!

All of a sudden, I just felt the urge to let everyone know that.

Tetcoq, that's true, but how many people actually do that? Most of us just go to Haiti, do a little gouye, eat some Mayi Moulen, then come back home to our cushy lives.

Rachel, I defy any Haitian that claims their love for Haiti to do this simple act. Our brothers & sisters have plucked off all the green of her back and it's our turn to do something NOBODY ELSE GONNA DO FOR US unless they kick all of us out of ther or turn us into RESTAVEK and still we probably have to do forcibly being a restavek This also a way to learn about your country by asking the locals, questions that "Histoire d'Haiti won't tell you. WAKE UP HAITIANS !!! our ancesters were "PROUD DOERS". Are we gonna just stand up and being a bunch of "SORRY OBSERVERS, LOSERS" And maybe ...."RIZEZ" at the same time.

Si ou alé visité an deyò an ayiti pou kèlké jou é ou pansé li twòp pou ou té ka tou planté yon douzèn pye bwa…….genyen yon bagay ki pa bon nan bagay sa. Sé dépi nan airport lan pou ké yo té fè tout mou’n ki ap rétounen achété youn douzèn pye pwa pou yo pran avèk yo pou yo planté.
Si ou paka planté l poukò w, pran $50 dolla, fè youn mou n planté l pou ou. Yon ti pwoblèm ki genyen……sè ke yo ka lagé kabrit ak lòt bèt nan pye bwa yo.

I'm not saying you guys are wrong. I'm just saying that most Dyaspora that go back home are not trying to get down and dirty and plant trees. Unless they are part of some organization making a concerted effort to plant trees in Haiti, they probably won't do it, or even think about it. It doesn't mean they don't love Haiti. Many Dyaspora wouldn't even know where or how to plant a tree.

Why don't you come up with some sort of program? Publicize it heavily, and organize tree-planting trips? Create a pamphlet with information on where to get seeds, and where to plant trees, and give it to people who are travailing. The ideas are endless. Others are doing it. To expect diaspora to do it on their own en masse is not realistic.

Rachel keeping it real.
Only problem, they'd have to do something about the cooking fuel. If not after a few years, those same tree would be charbon.
This used to be a mango tree, very sad.

This one is literally right next to it, I guess they felt there was no need for 2 so close to each other.
