Lol they charged you 38 bucks right, and how much was the taxi, you going on Terra or capitol?

I might end up taking Caribe Tours. I met up with this guy from Massachusetts. He's on his way to Haiti too. Li pa pale Kreyol. He knows he wants to help, but doesn't really have a plan. I figure we'll travel together for good conversation. (We'll also share cab fare to the bus stop. A brotha gotta save money before traveling to earthquake zones!!!)

Yeah, he was in the lobby speaking english and we just struck up a conversation. I'm sure you'll find plenty of people on their way to Haiti. We couldn't get people to come, all of a sudden it's the place to be with everybody and their grandmothers trying to be down with the program!

Oh, one more thing before I go to sleep. AT&T;is not letting people call Haiti for free from the U.S., but once you are in Haiti, you can place and receive calls, text messages, and data free of charge until February 28th!!! I'm gonna be calling, texting, and surfing the web on my iPhone like it was going out of style! (The last time I was in Haiti and tried this, I got an almost $800 bill !!)

If you have AT&T;and are coming down to Haiti, call them up to make sure your account is properly configured. Also, remember that this only works after you get to Haiti, and not while you are in the Dominican Republic.

Good night.

I have the card of a very nice Dominican taxi driver. I will give you his phone number if you want. I have used his service before , because he was referred to me by a Haitian that hosted me in the Dominican Republic.

Let me know if you need the number.

Siw rive an ayiti, on moun frapew pandan wap mache nan lari ya, pa jourel ,pa ba li kou. Enpe nan nou telman dezoryante ke depi tranbleman, nou konn fe kolizyon ak moun nan lari a. Pafwa se lespri lot pwochen ki konn preokipe paske li ap panse ak ki kote li pral domi nan aswe, sil ap jwenn manje pou pitit li, si lapli tonbe kisa li ap fe.Lew ap soti nan lari, siw gen pen nan kay ki ap resevwa la, mache ak de ti moso pen nan valiz ou. Konsa, lew soti nan lari, wa pase men nan tet on vye zanmi oubyen on timoun epi wa bal ti pen an.

Toujou mache ak on tiboutey dlo plen lew ap soti kote wap domi an, paske se tet neg yo ka few peye on ti boutey dlo nan lari ya. Lew ap achte, rasire w ke moun ki ap vann ou an pa dwol. Pou se pa nan men vole ki te al kase boutik ak kay moun wap achte.

Siw gen moun lap domi sou plas piblik, pote pen ak on ti bagay pou yo manje. Si yo gen timoun, achte bonbonsel ak bwat fwomaj bongu pou fe ke ti moun yo kontan.

Nouvo tandans lan , se ke anpil gason komanse ap fe fritay nan lari a. So m pa konn sin pa manje nan men gason, men ti pate yo byen bon so enjoy nou. Pa rete two ta nan lari a, pa kanpe anba mi, pa apiye sou mi pou si yo ta fele. Siw pral achte on bagay andedan on boutik, al achtel epi w fini, fe wout ou.

Si pa gen kouran ou vle chaje telefon ou, wap peye 15 gouds pou w chaje l, men atansyon, fok ou ret siveye telefon lan pou yo pa volel ni chanje bateri a.

Sa se de twa ti konsey m te vle ba nou sin pat konnen yo deja.
