What do you mean duration? Flights to Haiti should be back by the end of the month.

It is a sign of strength not of weakness to admit that you don’t know all the answers.

The best way to get to Haiti for some time to come will be through the DR..... (that's how i'm getting there this week-end) AA keep cancelling their flights so there is no way of telling when flights will start flowing again....

from the time you leave NY to the time you get to Haiti. It was like the first one when you search by schedule.

All the people that I know who are going are from Florida (where I reside). My dad is supposed to be going Thursday. I wanna go myself too. My aunt is having the same problem PAPrincesse. That time is ridicule.

Use any of the shipping carriers that do door to door service in the US to the DR. In NYC you can call Monumental Shipping for that. They'll pick it up at your home and have it in the DR some two or three weeks later.

You can send a box of about 100 pounds directly to any friend in the DR, pick it up after you arrive and take it with you to Haiti via the border. All bus lines from the DR to Haiti accommodate large boxes that fit under the cargo space of the bus for an extra fee.

The best way is to rent a car in the DR and take the stuff yourself there and back, or hire a driver in the DR to take you to your home in Haiti directly.
