Help Us, Save Us will carry out a youth medical mission trip in conjunction with sports related injuries prevention workshop on November 3-8th in St. Raphael, Haiti.

The medical mission team will provide medical consultation services and treatments to approximately 500 youth and children. We will also coordinate injury prevention workshops for the youth local soccer teams.

Some of the topics we will be discussing:

Strengthen muscles. Conditioning exercises before games and during practice strengthens muscles used in play.
Increase flexibility. Stretching exercises before and after games or practice can increase flexibility.
Stop the activity if there is pain.
Avoid heat injury by drinking plenty of fluids before, during and after exercise or play; decrease or stop practices or competitions during high heat/humidity periods; wear light clothing.
Mission Description

Our mission goal is to provide diagnosis and treatment, establish partnerships with local medical relief designees, conduct community medical and wellness training.

Particular roles of volunteers include, but are not limited to: patient in-take and health history, triage, patient and community health education, diagnosis and treatment and pharmacy. Non-medical volunteers assist throughout every aspect of clinic. As a nonmedical volunteer you will work side by side with the medical team throughout the clinics as well as build relationship with the community. All participants are also asked to participate in community education classes. We provide you with a variety of topics or you can choose your own topic to teach a class to the local communities on a topic that.
