it's a mini-series so most likely not. besides, no one will know it's the story of haiti anyway.

and i wonder how long before it finds its way to haiti. they should revamp it so that it comes out as a movie and not a series down there.

I'm still happy that Toussaint is played by an haitian actor.

benz most people (in the u.s. anyway) don't know who louverture was. and it was pre-haitian history.

Here is some news of the film wrap-up in June. Looks like all of the haitian scenes were filmed Martinique!
