Haiti-Politics: Martelly back to USA in emergency for treatment

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (defend.ht)- President Michel Martelly has left Port-au-Prince in emergency on Monday to get back in the U.S. where he must submit to treatment, informed the communications office of the Presidency of Haiti.
President Martelly went on board a commercial flight to Miami "for medical monitoring due to postoperative complications," said a statement from the presidency.
Information circulating in the Haitian capital Monday reported a rapid deterioration of health status of head of state, a situation that has created panic in the president's entourage.
The head of state accompanied by the First Lady returned to the United States after spending more than a week for surgery that President Michel Martelly underwent in his right shoulder.
President got back to Haiti April 12th and returned to Miami this Monday 16th.
The communications office of the presidency has promised to inform the public about the health of the president.
They're reporting that he's been diagnosed with pulmonary embolism.....that's a blood clot in the lungs.
Not sure if they're milking this since diagnosing pulmonary embolism is very difficult......even after all tests are done it usually the decision of the medical provider to decide if the test results and the patient's clinical symptoms point to pulmonary embolism.....if they suspect pulmonary embolism they usually treat it with intravenous heparin.
Martelly has been under a lot of pressure....the latest involved accusing some haitian dude of attempting to bring down his government.......people are openly calling the president a liar. He needs time off to plan his next move. He did what he usually does....running away to Florida.
Drug addicts, especially crack smokers, usually cause damage to their lungs.....shortness of breath is a common symptom of both damage from crack smoking and possible pulmonary embolism.
It wouldn't take much for his medical provider to simply call it pulmonary embolism instead of the real problem in order to protect him......
We'll never the truth.....unless he dies from this and autopsy results prove to be P.E.
BTW that's usually how pulmonary embolism is proven .......after death.
So pres. Crackhead could be receiving treatment for shortness of breath for damage he's caused to his respiratory system from smoking crack.....but if his medical provider wants to say P.E. is a factor, that could never be proven to be a lie because the diagnosis is based on the medical provider's opinion.
Since he's still alive I don't feel too bad for saying this: wasn't this the guy who went on and on about how he was better fit for the job than Mrs. Manigat because she was older and would probably die before the end of her term? Left shoulder, right shoulder, heel and now lungs. Not to mention his brain, the guy is literally falling apart.

Pulmonary embolism is determined via a CAT scan.
Otherwise, his symptoms could be part of an anxiety attack.
There was no mention of of a CAT scan.
He needs a few more days of R&R;to recover from this "attack".
I belive he's scheduled to be in Atlanta at some diaspora shindig this Saturday along with his good buddy Slick Willy.
I believe he had another anxiety attack and or psychotic episode requiring a return to Miami.
When the US State Dept puts the screws to you; life can become almost unbearable.
Look what they did while Papa Doc was president.
It's enough to make anybody psychotic.
I only wish that there was an "organization" that could put those same screws to the likes of Dr Farmer and Bill Clinton.
We'd see how long they would last before crumbling.
And if anybody deserves a screw job", it's the two of them.
Martelly has so many troubles that are in fact, based on his own actions.
So leaving the presidency is appropriate and good for the country.
Well now Mrs. Manigat is apparently wishing Martelly good luck and she's asking for the "ying yang to end for the good of the country."
I might be cynical, but I find this reconciliation talk very interesting considering Nuria just revealed she received an extra 300K (on top of the 250K) from Bautista.
