Look how the organization UPA Development international is helping a lot of farmers in rural Haiti, after the 2010 earth Quake

So sad.

Keep 'em dirt poor by dividing up 115,000 MT's of crops amongst 93,000 farmers.

And the diaspora seems incapable of looking at these numbers and "Getting it!"

It's 2012 time to stop doing things by hand. They can produce more but time to join the 21st century.

You have to clear up the squatter farmer issue and return the land to its proper owners.

93,000 farms will never, ever, amount to anything but sustenance farming.

Clear up the squatters, get the land farmed in 30+ acre tracts, and then Haiti can trade on the global market in a competitive way.

1 - 4 acre tracts will never generate enough revenue to invest in mechanized equipment nor fertilizers, herbicides, etc.

It will keep Haiti dirt poor and rural.

Exactly the way the NGO system wants it.
