"It is time for our very stylish and great President of the United States be held alongside the hope embodied by the new President Michel Martelly," said Sean Penn. "There's a human obligation to go and help Haiti," he added. The American actor has found that education was "paramount" and that it was "also roads to connect the cities, basic infrastructure".

WTF does being "stylish" has to do with anything?

As a matter of fact, Obama should never receive a Haitian official in the white house nor meet with any of these idiots.

He should also screw Sean Penn in the process.

He didn't actually CALL Obama. He "called on" Obama to help Haiti.

Most likely drinking when he made these statements.

My fault...I was talking about the title of the thread. When I first read I thought he actually called Obama.

Obama? Really?

Isn't he the guy who pulled USACE out of Haiti and replaced it with thousands of NGO personnel?

Tell me exactly what your great "Obama" did for Haiti during the last 3.5 years?

He put a damn kid (Shah of Haiti) in charge of the Earthquake operation and now USAID.

Has publicly stated that USAID now runs the "Aid The Poor" system in Haiti.

Given what we know about USAID's track record in Haiti,

Did Obama do the right thing with the kid and USAID?

Penn is now a self admitted alcoholic over the Haitian experieince.

Just goes to show how a strong Christian faith keeps Haitians out of that shit.

This is such an absurd comment. Obama is not a sell out and just because he is black doesn't mean he has to treat Haiti with more concern. He is the president of the USA not of Haiti.. colour has nothing to do with this. It is up to Haitians to take responsability of Haiti. Sean Penn in my opinion is really feeling himself as some sort of savior to haiti. It would be better if he leaves Haiti and enter into a rehab.

Obama is simply following orders regarding Haiti.

And those orders are to leave Haiti to the professionals to "manage".

Haiti is an ATM machine that is only for use by the White elitists of the Democrat Party.

Obama is too small and insignificant to show up in that neighborhood.

He knows that entering the region known as "Aid The Poor" is loaded with traps that could quickly end his career.

He's being a good boy by putting Dr Kim in as head of the WB, Clinton/Farmer in charge of Haiti/Africa, and setting up USAID as the "official" channel for Aid The Poor.

Don't expect any more from him.

it's not about treating Haiti with more concern rather to show sympathy to a big segment of the US population, just as the others white leaders have done, instead he's run away from blacks as if they have plague, and still don't have any problem going on a campaign to support Gay marriage

you guy love this sell out too much
don't let the black face fool you

the fact tha he's black, it need to show more concerned to people who looks like him, as the white man does to those who voted for them 98% of the time

do you remember how Bush favor the Christians by doing everything they love simply because he is one of them?

the sell out he's been taking black folks for granted simply because he himself is black and don't expect you to vote for any other but him so stop talking craps

Kenny I'm sorry but I don't adhere to your non sense. Franckly, blacks that call other blacks that succeeded sell outs are from urban areas that are economically deprived and want an individual of color to act like a brotha. I am sorry but he is the president of the USA not the Afro Americans in the USA. I too oppose his stance on gay marriage but this doesn't have anything to do with race rather him wanting their votes to win by allowing government to acknowledge homosexuals matrimony. Kenny, I am in a point in my life I don't see color too much rather persons state of mind. My issues have always been with blacks so called brothers rather than whites so I don't first take color into consideration although in the USA and majority of places it is primordial. I am actually not voting for Obama because of his stance on gay marriage but not because he is a sell out rather a man with no backbone and will do anythign to stay in power. Besides his mother is white thus he is bi-racial. We tend to forget that he is mulatto.
