I love Tabou Combo I'm just irritated that they aren't held to a higher standard. These guys are music royalty. They reinvented Konpa with their style. They are the soundtrack to my childhood. I've been wanting to do a project with them. Maybe I'll finally jumpstart it.

Beautiful....
Like the best grapes from a vine...The vocals have really matured into a higher dimension, even thought Tabou was always a funtastik band. A bit of materialism at play in the beginning of the video, but Hey!!! Great choice of subject for the song, delivered with mellowed poise & confidence, and great sound. In a weird way, discovering this song hit me with a similar mellow yet matured intensity as this great bottle of Cabernet that I recently discovered.
Fantastik share, Roh

Rho thanks for sharing. I remember listening to Tabou Combo when I was a kid. My uncle used to play Tabou Combo all the time in the house.

Great choice, reminds me of when I was a jit. My step-mom's favorite band.

All Hail the Konpa Funk!

I remember having one of my French professors in love with this song. I wonder if she still plays this cd.
