Air Caraïbes in conjunction with Haiti's Ministry of Tourism, is officially promoting Haiti as a tourist destination. This comes on the heels of the release of a new logo promoting Haiti tourism. This administration is working hard to make a change, but even with all the new improvements and hotels being built, many think this is premature, and that Haiti isn't quite ready yet.
Below is a press release (in French), announcing a 4-day package for 850 Euros for a round trip package from other locations in the Caribbean. Is Haiti ready for this? Is the U.S. ready for sometthig like this?
What do you think? - Di sa'w le!

Note de Presse
Seriously though because Royal Caribbean already brings cruise ships to the area, That should be where the expansion is to include Mliot's historical sites.
Not Ready, true.... But there are already so many blanc to be found on an airplane going to Haiti. and can't always assume that every neg on the plane is Haitian either. . I hear the same comment from many other travelers as well. At least that's how it often is on Delta & AA.
Right now, one can even find posters on some business store window on the mid-town residential east side of Manhattan, advertising children summer camps to Haiti. This is obviously geared towards those parents who could normally afford sending their kids to summer camps in Europe or summer experience in Africa.
