I understand that you may want to distance yourself because of NGOs' poor performance so far, but being disingenuous about your identity (and perhaps motives) will not make your project look better. Buzzwords and very loose definitions of Haitian concepts aren't fooling anyone either. Life, love and happiness? In Cite Soleil, really?

Your project looks good and I believe this is the right approach. Still, change cannot come with a top-down approach, but it has to come from the community. If they change themselves, everything else can follow.
You don't need to know who I am, because it's not my project. I am not involved in this movement, I am just an observer and help them to get their message out there.

If projects in the past in Cité Soleil failed, that's also because the community didn't accept them or destroyed them. So the Soley Leve group wants to change the mindset of people first and then move on to the next level. If this foundation isn't there, you can do any project and it will fail.

And yes, life, love and happiness exists in Cité Soleil. And many people you ask tell you that they like Cité Soleil and are happy. What they lack in infrastructure, they gain back in community and solidarity.
