Perhaps on the hills of this 1st time event in Haiti, Haitians Massissis/Madivinèz & Makomès will rep in greater numbers on next year's LGBT parade. So many other nations paraded their float & waved their country's flag at this year's NYC Pride day parade. I saw only one , but BRAVE Haitian guy proudly waving our Haitian flag, alone, in only his white shorts.

I was there at the parade sunday june 24 and I had a great time.

Yep I hope the LGBT Haitian people here in New York, can get together and have a float like the other nations and represent.

Now the fact that people who are gay, bisexual and lesbians in Haiti are making a surface and stop hiding themselves, and pretending to be straight.

And the fact that they start to fight for equality and fairness

Like I say

The Gay community is the most vile, hate-filled, self absorbed, bigoted, intolerant, group of people in the USA.

Their self absorbed, self centered, amoral behavior at this "parade" is classic "Gay Community".

Children around; too bad! We're too self absorbed to care.

Dress and act appropriately; not us! We're too self absorbed to care.

What else can you say. Watch the video and read the posts by Rachel & Maximo.

They represent what being "Gay" is in the USA, and that is: SELF ABSORBED.

Maximo, I hope so too... Haitians are launching a courageous battle in Haiti. Sunday was a fun-tastic parade.. also had a great time. NYc Roof-top garden parties, Elegant people, champagne & all....

I am not gay, and no one bothered me Gunner... I was welcomed and had a great time. So Gunner, why you spewing so much fear & hate?

Just like all other preceding societies with folks like Gunner spewing words of hate and whatever else, it shows the difficulty of the battle that lays ahead. But I wish they should come out victorious in getting their rights to live in equality like everyone else.

Here's a youtube artist's conceptual piece on last year's Toronto's. Perhaps one day in the future, the artist's side in folks like Gunner may change their views and will be the one to create a conceptual piece with the artistry that may behold from a Haitian Gay Pride Parade celebration in Haiti.

They exhibited amoral, self absorbed, behavior in public.

That's just a fact not "hate"

For "hate speech" you have to turn to Maximo and Rachel for that.

Perhaps you're the type of parent who would take their "child" to this parade to see gay behavior on display.

That's your choice.

But public decency and respect for others is totally lacking in the Gay community.

It's all about "them".

Self absorbed; and if you had questioned their amoral behavior, you would have learned what hate speech is real quick.

They are incredibly intolerant and bigoted.

You don't like amoral behavior while in public? Too bad! Because they only think of themselves.

Haitians have a reputation of being conservative in public and of conducting themselves with self respect and dignity.

The Gay Community is the antithesis of this reputation.

For the life of me, I can’t come to terms of why is it so important for Haiti to embrace homosexuality !
I have nothing against gays, lesbians etc…..but with the all the issues that are plaguing Haiti, why this and why now ?

Maybe if someone would explain what it means to be gay in a language that I can understand I might reconsider.

Judging from what I saw in that video it's just sickening, it reinforces what I 've suspected all along, being Gay simply means that “A person of a particular sex, enjoys sexual activities with another of the same sex.” How does that concern me? I mean, what my neighbor does in the privacy of his home is his business !

I don’t support the harassment, bullying or teasing of any group for any reason. But I ask , doesn’t flamboyant behavior and Gay parades draw unnecessary attention to the respectable few Gays in the community. What’s next “Threesome parades, Polygamous parades”.

Maybe swingers should appeal to congress for special treatment as minorities also.

Haitians need electricity, housing, food, schools, roads, and a lot of other things, being Gay doesn’t deserve priority in my book.

XEREMIE!

You must understand this one thing about the Gay Community:

They are 100% self absorbed!

They do not care if you are offended by their amoral behavior.

It is all about THEM.

Yes, they know their behavior is amoral. But they do not care!

This "Gay" issue is one example of why I am 100% opposed to the diaspora becoming involved in Haiti.

Martelly did a HUGE disservice to Haitian Nationals by opening the door to this kind of mindset and behavior as exhibited by Maximo and Rachel, etc.

This is what Nationals can expect from the diaspora in the USA/Canada.

The introduction and promotion of filthy, White, morals and mores, as found by the sheep known as the "diaspora".
