Nice. $266 million for June 2010 to June 2011
Check out those Salaries: $76 million. (29% of the donated money)
They had 418 employees; divided by $76 million = $181,818 USDs per employee.
I wonder what private sector corporation could stay in business with those kinds of numbers.
But when you pay ZERO income tax; well, "Membership (NGO Ranks) has its privilege's".
=====================================================
So how does Mercy Corp raise that kind of Cash? $266 million?

By spending about $800,000 on "marketing consultants".
And "telemarketers":

Whoa! Check out how much the telemarketers "keep" (Column C2) of the amount donated by sincere people.
=====================================================
So who "donates" the $266 million?

Wow! Over 90% of their "donations" are funneled to them through the Democrat Party (Aid The Poor) system.
That's right! You and I are paying almost 100% of Mercy Corps largess.
========================================================
So what are they doing wit the cash?

Well, very interesting indeed. Part of it is being paid to a "woman in Pakistan".
That has a John Edwards mistress type thing written all over it.
They also:

Make loans to "poor people" at 35%+ interest rates.
That's right. They take money given to them by US taxpayers and then loan it out at 35% to the poor.
They also put a little in their Goldman Sach's account:

And of course, the normal and customary "expenses" for a first class flying, 5 star hotel staying, NGO:

Check out that "OTHER", "OFFICE EXPENSE" and TRAVEL line items.
You've got over $31 million right there.
And over $7 million in rent!
Mighty fine office space I am sure.
But most interesting, is that they show ZERO lobbying expense, and yet 90%+ of their cash comes from taxpayers via the politicians.
I wonder how much of that $4.9 nillion OTHER ends up in the pockets of K Street lobbyists.

Hey! What about "Aiding The Poor" of Haiti?
On September 5, 2011, this was reported on the Internet:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
When cholera first broke in Haiti nine months after the devastating earthquake, the international community responded, raising tens of millions of dollars for specialized beds, water purification tablets and soap. While groups like Doctors Without Borders opened cholera treatment units and trained medical staff, others like Mercy Corps, working in the Central Plateau, turned motorcycle taxi drivers into community health aides.
Armed with hygiene information to help prevent the spread of the epidemic, the taxi drivers traveled into remote villages to sensitize the community. Sometimes, the taxis even served as ambulances, ferrying vomiting patients on the back of their bikes to treatment.
Earlier this year, the program was cut because of lack of funds, Mercy Corps spokeswoman Lindsay Murphy said.
“Funding is not enough to fight against cholera in the upcoming months,’’ said Dr Gabriel Thimothé, executive director of Haiti’s Health Ministry, which lacks money to provide even basics, such as water at treatment centers.
-----------------------------------------
So let's see just how "bad things" are in the Cash/liquid assets line tiems:

Damn! Same thing like Dr Paul Farmer and beating the bushes!
They lack "funds" but have over $68 million in liquid assets.
That kind of cash but they couldn't buy cholera vaccines.
Sick!
