Interesting how a similar phenomenon exists in many other parts of the world.

Yes but India is a rising world power.....and Mexico is a major economy.

So no comparison to the desperate haiti situation.

Exactly. Just because India has more money has nothing to do with the fact that many of its people are desparately poor and are facing similar situations.

I didn't expect you to understand the point. If an Indian has to leave their home to be virtual slaves in another country they don't give a shit if they come from an "emerging" country or falied state or whatever it is. Dominicans that leave their country by boat are not better than Haitians that leave their country by boat.

Actually the dominicans who leave by boat are better off than the Haitians who leave by boat.

The boats are better, they look better, dress better and are better fed........and if returned home....THEY HAVE A BETTER HOME to return to.

Mexicans have a better place to return to.

Haitians have NOTHING to return to........and when returned....head to guess where...DR

If you can't see the big difference between DR and Haiti, I don't know what to tell you.

You can live in your little fantasy world BENZ...but the despair of haiti and haitians is there for the whole world to see.....and no one sees it more clearly than DR.

Desperation!

That's what it is, and why it exists.

It's either be a Restavek in Haiti, or a child slave in the DR, with the slim hope of being reunited with a parent or a "better future".

There is no "good" in Haiti while this exists.

There is no "progress" in Haiti while this exists.

Martelly takes a private jet to Miami for a one night party and the diaspora says nothing.

Martelly is doing NOTHING to assist Haitian Nationals. NOTHING!

It's all about building the "land of plenty" for the NGO industry and its K Street leeches..

USACE remains the ONLY organization that can turn this thing around and Martelly stays far, far, away from them.

I do not blame the DR guards for "trafficking in children".

Haitian parents in the DR are the main customers for it.

DESPERATION!

What are those kids doing at the border point in the first-place?

Their parents have summoned them there.

Quit with the blame the DR and focus on the man in charge and hos total neglect of the key issues facing Haiti.

What is DUMB BENZ is you not knowing that basic fact........Haiti's misery is reflected in everything from the look of its people to the look of its transportation tools.

And yes Dominican boats are better....just as their buses, and other transportation modes and almost everything else is better and looks better.

lol...damn..plenty of haitians on that dominican boat....lol

BENZ, you can flip upside down all you want and lol..lol..all you want but the facts remains the facts.

Do you really want the dominicans to start posting pictures of haiti and haiti boats...lol.....you might cry.

Dominicans at every level are better off than haiti of similar levels.

The rich dominicans are better off than the rich haiti.

The middle class dominicans are better off than the middle class haiti.

The poor dominicans are better off than the poor haiti.

And then we have the STARVING Haitians.....the ones dying to move to DR at any cost.

BENZ, if you do not know that DR is way way way better than haiti...then I do not know what to tell you.

Maynoral and Kusumbo, Pictures please for poor BENZ.
