Dominican meat distributor Induveca responded in a another article of Listin Diario saying that it is internationally recognized and certified since last June that their products were absent of endangering the health of consumers. The company continued to say that the samples of their product were not detected to have fecal cloriform and nitrite levels above established parameters and that they have an excellent rating from local and international institutions.
It seems that you are a vegetarian. In order to eat meat an animal must die, otherwise we would not eat anything at all and starve to death. That is the circle of life. It is nature. We are all tertiary consumers, at least Dominicans are.
No more processed meat for me... THAT WAS JUST DISGUSTING. Take a good look at the animals being shoved in the grinder. Those animals seemed to have die from old age, or from some type of sickness. They've been dead for a while cus the corpse are bloated.

Non processed meat is not good neither, well it depends on how raw or cooked it is. But anyhow, an omnivore and vegetarian like many of you would dislike meat in whatever shape it may be. Speaking of myself who is a tertiary consumer (like any other human being) cannot resist against meat. Matter of fact since most of the Dominican food and diet have meat in them, it is common in DR to have and serve meat...no matter how it was made to be.
I, as a human being, cannot resist against these:
Once that animal turns into the plates above then we all can forget the animal cruelty. Anti-animal cruelty is human cruelty.
Mayneirol, that is some nasty looking and unappealing plates you have posted there...lol
That stuff cannot be good for your insides.
Oh come one. Food is not nasty. Those are Dominican dishes of mangu and cerdo asado so therefore they are not nasty. Dominican food is very good when you eat it, so you don't know what you're missing.
all i know is that every time i've been in the dominican republic i've gotten sick from the food. Never in haiti because my family is very clean and we eat clean food but i have ate off of the streets in haiti as well and have had no problems. But every time ive ate in the dominican republic i have gotten sick. The first time it was so bad i had to postpone my flight and the second time i was so sick that when i got back i went to the doctor and he diagnosed it as food poisoning. Guess i should have listened to my family who told me to never eat the food there(they always pack food from haiti) but i wanted to be adventurous. Never again though...I have learned my lesson!!!
