All the members of the household are on the balcony. At 4:33am we were rudely awakened by what I now know was a 4.7 aftershock. I’m not even gonna front, I was scared. All of Port-au-Prince is now in the streets, scared to go back inside. This was my first big one. It was nerve rattling and a big wake-up call for me. We’ve spent the last half-hour calling up neighbors and friends to make sure they are ok. Facebook is also all abuzz.
The sun is coming up and I know that going back to sleep is no longer an option for me. Just wondering if any already-weakened homes went down. Daytime will show the light.
