Beaudor Communication has launched the second annual Miss Anayizz Beauty Pageant promising to revolutionize the Haitian beauty pageant industry by offering a fresh take on pageantry and glamour competitions.
Park Canne a Sucre, Port-au-Prince Haiti – July 20, 2008. Haiti-based Beaudor Communications has launched the 2008 Miss Anayizz Pageant “in Search of Haiti’s most beautiful woman”. While the pageant is only in its second year, there are 15 Contestants entered from all over Haiti. The concept behind the pageant is to revolutionize the beauty pageant as it is commonly known, and bring it into the new millennium. By creating a beauty pageant that not only displays beauty, but also talent and intelligence over several days, a much lager audience can be reached. The pageant will visit the following cities: Jacmel, Cap Haitian and Au Cayes. The pageant encourages audience participation, and opens the door for women who might not normally get the chance to participate in such an event.
While the concept of a Haitian beauty pageant itself may not be new, it has yet to be executed with the scale and level of professionalism exhibited by Beaudor Communication. If you’re in Haiti at the right time you will find a handful of so called pageants, but most of them are based solely in Port-au-Prince. This is where Miss Anayizz 2008 is different, since it caters to entire country.
Miss Anayizz has not eliminated the complicated eligibility restrictions found in traditional pageants. The pageants require that you be older than 18 and sets maximum age limits, not to mention numerous other eligibility requirements, rules and restrictions including participation in other beauty pageants. You must also have a good communication skills, intelligence and beauty.
The winning contestants will win a new car, airplane tickets, financial scholarships, shopping sprees, gifts, etc. Beaudor Communications also has plans to televise the pageants on TNH, and also feature it on Radio Télé Caraïbes (RTC) and Ticket Magazine.
