If you are in Port-au-Prince and see a truck with a large HaitiXchange sign on it, blasting Compas music, you’re not seeing things.
Listen to the HaitiXchange theme song in its entirety (perfomed by Vwadezil)...
Haitixchange’s Haiti Division has officially launched a publicity blitz to gain additional visibility in the Haitian Market. Although fairly well-known among the Haitian Diaspora, HaitiXchange has been more obscure in Haiti, where Internet access isn’t always affordable or available. This is quickly changing, and has prompted HaitiXchange to make Haitians “lakay” (back home) aware of its existence.
Since last month the Pachou Publicity truck has been travelling around Haiti with large HaitiXchange banners and playing the HaitiXchange theme song. This is a prelude to HaitiXchange conducting more business in Haiti, and making Haitian products available to the American market. The truck will be traveling to several provinces.
Employees of the Haitian Division of HaitiXchange would like to thank Pachou Publicity, and the U.S. Division for their support in this campaign.
