We’d like to thank everyone who watched the Labor Day parade on HaitiXchange live yesterday. Please check back as we add a lot more pictures and video of this event.

Carimi closes out the parade.
We chased down Carimi as they closed down the parade on Eastern Parkway. They were the last major Haitian float to pass by, and was the only Haitian float to make it all the way to Grand Army Plaza. They were accompanied by Boujou of Djakout Mizik and Wyclef Jean.

Follow the marching Roots band DjaRara as they perform during J’Ouvert 2008, the pre-dawn party which precedes Brooklyn’s Labor Day Carnival.
