HaitiXchange examines the so called “Zombie Attack” which happened in Miami on Memorial, and how it has affected Haitians who are often vilified in the media when it comes to zombies and Voodoo.
Ayiti1804, you don't like the subject matter, and that's understandable. It's not pleasant. But to me it isn't a reason not to discuss it. I rarely give my personal opinions on HX but I understand that there are some subjects that we as Haitians consider taboo. But I also sometimes feel that we believe that somehow, not talking about things we don't like, or are ashamed of, will effectively distance ourselves from it or make it disappear, and I couldn't disagree with that more.
OK! I don't like , the flesh-eating man news freak me out. I grew up in Haiti I'd never heard about zombies attack like this one. If that'd the case nobody would live in Haiti. American Zombies are cannibalism, Haitians' zombies(slaves) work on plantations with no pay. LOL!!
Ayiti1804, why because it's false, it's inaccurate, it's sensationalism...or because you simply don't like it? Will you also be writing email to ABCNews, the Miami Herald, and all the YouTube posters who have reported on this? Just asking.
Ayiti1804, and why shouldn't I. Of course I know it's not Voodoo, but does reporting what others are saying mean I have no faith? Are you shooting the messenger?
