In honor of the Haitian Independence Day (Friday, January 1), The Haiti Support Project will report back on its third recent Pilgrimage to Haiti, announce its agenda towards mobilizing more support for our beloved Haiti an upcoming Royal Caribbean Haitian Heritage Benefit Cruise, October 3 -10, 2010.
Who:
Special Guests, reporting back from Haitian Support Group’s October 2009 Haiti Pilgrimage III, will include: Kangol Kid, first Haitian-American Hip Hop Artist and original member of U.T.F.O, Richard Muhammand, Editor-in-Chief of Final Call; Betty Dopson Co-Chair of the Committee to Eliminate Media Offensive to African People (CEMOTAP) and Frederica Bey, Executive Director of Women in Support of the Million Man March. Inspirational Expressions will also be performed by Poet, Suicide, Voix et Tambours d’Haiti and Dja Ra Ra.
