The festival in NY-on Nostrand Ave. was nice eventhough there was rain. But i like this guy who performed named...Jerome aslo called Jstar. He sings about the reality of Haiti. His songs was appropriate for the occassion. the sound could have been a little better thus. But despite of the rain, there was quite a bit of people. His perfomance was'nt bad.

I have to apologize to haitianking17. I met him for 30 seconds as I was entering Compas Fest (he was wearing a HX T-SHirt!). I totally under estimated how difficult it would be to find him once we got inside, and never saw him again. I will make it a point for us to hang the next time I'm in Miami!
