well we have alot of lazy man and lazy women in the haitians community they refuse to work,but they like nice things thats silly all they do seat on their ass and dreaming about money.nan pwen moun yo abiye che konsa volo.medam yo se chita nan kay grennen timoun pou yo sa collecte nan tax,anyen yo pa vle fe pa mem lekol shame shame.and lot of time their husband beat them like a runaway slaves,but they can't go nowhere because they swear not to work.we say that we come in the us to have a better life but I just don't see it.40 years no english,no educations too busy with politics.I admit there are some of you that Iam very proud of,worked hard to achieved but others zero oh yeah.that famous line for the guy,I rather do taxis I will not worked for the white men,Iam independent but they don't realizes when they retired.they gonna be broke as hell. its time for a change.go to a business,or college or tech, or something ya can do it don't just seat and watch time goes by please.

This guest you raised some serious points, but the way you present your information is just plain wrong.If you wanted to pass a positive message, you will have saty positive, but you want to direspect Haitian cab drivers who probaly gave you a ride,help them,don't direspect them, you want lazy Haitian women meanwhile there are thousands who worked hard to care of their kids.Do youthe average US tax return for  a black person is 3000 dollars if they have two kid or more.Can you take take of your kids with $3000.Yes,there are alot of Haitians outhere who do want to put in effort  but want big bucks and nice cars.Some of them steal,deal or whatever  but d you know there are Haitian doctors, laywers,accountants who are stealing from poor Haitians too.You must have heard how many immigration,tax, marriage , real estate lawyers who stole money from single mothers.So brother nest time you are trying to make a point , don't shout ,talk people will listen.

College educated or not, all that matters at the end is net worth...assets minus liabilities.  This fixation on a 9 to 5 job won't get us anywhere, entrepreneurship is what we lack.

One guy drove taxis, then purchased a medaillon then a few more and now has a few cabs working for him.  he also purchased properties and is collecting rent.  With the equity on his properties, his retirement home in the tropics is ready and he is barely 50.

The other spent time in college got a 9 to 5 job..save some money...did manage to buy one home...but will work till 68 and so  and his net worth is currently in the negative due to the mortgage and other stuff.

Take a hint from the chinese, koreans, vietnamese.  A college education is fine but the accumulation of wealth is what brings real power.

My point is it is how you use the system that counts...how you make it work for you...how to get the most out of it.
