"due to the years ... spent in Petit Seminaire, Haiti; Catholic grade and high schools and University in the US," now I can tell you are a highly educated person. Therefore, by no means should you be measured "up to [my] lofty standard." I was not lucky and financially stable enough to attend your highly appraised institutions; however, I was able to go to l’Ecole Frère des Gonaïves, finished my high school at Joel E Ferris in Spokane, WA, and went to Whitworth College ( color=#0000ffwww.whitworth.edu) Spokane, WA majoring in Political Science and French, working for two years in Haiti for a nonprofit organization called Hands Together, and now going for a Master in Social Work (MSW) at Eastern Washington University ( color=#0000ffwww.ewu.edu).  I respect your perspective, Papaille; however, I still believe that Haiti needs the white people’s help, and that your “koupe tèt, boule kay” angle is still barbaric.

When I left the country in '82, there was only one penitentiary in the whole country. It behooves me therefore to ask the following questions.

1.      Who is the barbarian the slave master or the slave master slayer?

2.      Are Codes Noires, Jim Crow, Nazism, Apartheid, barbaric?

3.      Which is barbaric cut a man’s head off with a dull knife or shoot him in the head?

4.      Is shock and awe barbaric?

5. Does arming and unleashing known murderers on a sovereign nation and a neighbor attain the barbaric threshold?
6. Is war a barbaric “choice”?
7. Is exploitation barbaric?

I have many more questions and I know full well you can provide some insight; after all, you are getting the best mis/education money can buy. No lie lives forever.
