Who is this fool calling us Dominicans stupid and uneducated when he/she can barely spell and just keeps refrasing the same topic in each sentence.  Why don't you stop worrying about us and let us be;  I recommend you go to school because your frustration over Dominicans is so great, you must have been shaking typing all those mis-spelled words.

This fool really thinks it's only Dominicans......go to any country in this world and show me where the lighter skin people don't have higher status.  Quick fact:  alot of whites in the good ol' U.S.A. have more African in them then white, do you see them going around telling every person that?

Now this is getting funny, especially since more and more Dominicans are showing up (few of us will actually responde or type anything in here, just checking these things out) thanks to the few frustrated individuals typing this non-sense.

The guest who starts this thread do not tell anything tnew. Instead, it shows his/her hatred for DR people. His view about the other side of the island would not advance Haitians' social, political and econimcal cause. So, why should we bother to respond?

I agree with the first guest, and partly   the guest above.They both  need to some corrections.US ,Spain,France , Germany,Netherlands, supply the  Dominican Rep. with the small majority the have, that is clarification for the guest above.US occupied DR  and a lot of the Marines left their blood behind, Spaniards were always there,French  who live in Haiti fleed  to DR during the Dessalines era.Jews from Germany and the Eastern bloc  went to settle there for different reasons of course money is of them.A lot of European countries invest in DR , so they send their citizens there,so all that whiteness amounts to 15% in  a country of 9.2 million people (The Haitiansworkers and residents count) their mixed is around 60%, their Dominican  blacks population around 25%  of those 60 percenters you got the remnants of the Tainos mixed with blacks and whites, you got blacks with whites.The proper is mulatto for a blacks and whites, metize for Taino and whites ,and Afro-Taino for blacks with the Tainos who meet up in the mountains in the Cordillera.But I guess the white government will never want in their history books,and the people sure sucked  up to be whites ,something they sure know they are not.I 've met Haitians like that , Domicanos so I understand.

Well although not precise (it's actually 10% black, 16% white, and 74% mixed), that's the composition of the racial breakdown of us Dominicans and the beauty of all this is that regardless of being a black or white Dominican, we see each other as the same....now how can we possibly be racist, stupid, or un-educated?  I'm a Dominican with blue eyes, same applies for mostly all on my father and mother side and the region i'm from in the D.R.  I'm aware of not only our African roots, but also our European and Taino roots.

But i'm not worried about Africa or Europe kudos to them for "making" us  one continent is poorer then us, the other doesn't give a you know what about us, i'm Dominican and that's what matters to me and bringing my country forward.
