Here you go:

The unit is the gourde (In Creole: goud),
divided into 100 centimes (In Creole: kòb).
Coins in circulation are for 5, 10, 20 and 50 centimes, notes for 1, 2,
5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 250 and 500 gourdes.

If i'm going alone and don't want to pay the single room rate, how do i go about buddy up with someone?

Tijou, I already "know" you so I'll put you on the list and will let you know once I find a partner. (Actually, my cousin is going and she needs to room with someone. She's maaaad cool so don't worry.)
