Wow! What an objectivity! People who lack brains always run to their hearts to make decisions. That's why we take the streets to chant "VIVE ou ABAS". Our uncontrolled and unmanaged anger or joy makes us vacillate from one extreme to the next. We have learned to either fall in love or hate in digust.

Thank God Haiti still has some Patati Patatas, some Kreyolbros, some tijous and some NegNwes to name just these!

While there are problems (economical & political) in Haiti we are nowhere near many countries in the world. Haiti is in a unique situation my friends, in fact I am writing to you from Haiti. Luckily most of you guys are educated enough to know what is going in Haiti, why the country is in such a state.

The one who don't know should invest some time in reading good books by fine black writers a few non black too regarding Haiti and the black world in general. Those of us who went to school in Haiti back in the days learned our History from the white French priests and teachers who did a job on us. They must have done something to our brain.

Some of us read about the genocide by the French colons, the cruel slave masters who did far worst to our ancestors than what Hitler did to the Jews but we don't talk about that. We need to reflect on our condition, analyze our situation. We are still paying for our indepence my friends.

The curent situation in Haiti is the result of our white enemies who never gave us a chance. President Aristide is not the problem any other President would have been in the same situation. This is not to say that he is perfect none of us is, He has his strong and weak spots. It's our bicenntennial stupid. Yes Haiti has problems so do many countries. Let's look at the kind of violence that occur daily in Israel no one will dare write about it or tell people not to visit Israe but the US State Dpt. will write or say all kinds of .... about Haiti.

I have to run out now and will return to finish this response. Let's get our act together and start loving each other for our enemies are causing all the crazyness in Haiti.

Your way of expressing yourself and the depth of your thoughts are clear indications that we can be better than what the US Western propaganda is making of us. Propaganda, not only verbal in newspapers and other right-wing controlled media, but supported by hideous and criminal actions, by money in millions of dollars, by shipping guns and drugs and all the other immoralities of the millenium to our nation.

We have spent so much time resisting the evil that some of us gave up to embrace it. The root of our misfortune is indeed in the nature of certain of us who had been manipulated in such a way as to bring the evil in our doorsteps through themselves. Even though America and the other white western superpowers are impediments to our development, they shouldn't be an excuse for our poor state.

They have always been that devilish to small countries like us. However, we're the only one who gave in so much to the ennemy. They have never been good to Cuba; in fact they have been more crual. However, didn't the Cuban people find a way to isolate their crocodiles teeth?

I'm not saying to choose between communism and anything. Every nation and every era require different tools to fight (in our case to survive). Our mission should be to find those proper tools to end that malevolent destiny we've been accepting in one way or another: talking without doing anything, collaborating with the ennemy, becoming the ennemy, ignoring our duty as Haitians, etc ...

To boost the slaves' morale, Toussaint Louverture told them that "they had nothing to lose but their chains". I guess one needs not be Toussaint to see that today, we have nothing to lose if we stand up against that western conspiracy (in and out of us) but our will to accept the unacceptable.

Good morning from Haiti. The Haitian people understands what is going on in Haiti the so called analphabet/moun ki pa kon li are in many cases more intelligent than many Haitian intellectuals with MS, BS, JD, MD, and Phd. Have you ever met a Jew who does't care about Israel ?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               No matter where they live their beloved land comes first. They are pretty consistent, aware of their history never, never again will they allow an other Hitler to rise up. They are still going after every one who collaborated with the Nazis. Their kids are usually well educated and motivated in touch with their culture, tradition and religion.

200 years after our independence from the cruel French and other terrorists we have yet to gain economic independence. The white powers come to Haiti, Africa and other non white countries to steal our wealth, impose their doctrines and take away our pride and joy. Why did they occupy us 1915, why are the big boys still opressing us? We need a freaking break! We have been constantly harrassed  as recently as the late 60's they were bombing black churches, killing our colored folks and treated us in the most inhuman manners. Today we are still dealing with all kinds of abuses, lack of access and opportunities, police brutality just to name a few.

Let's not beat around the bush and tell them how we feel. We need to take care of our kids, tell them what we went trough, encourage them to be good citizens and to get involved in matter regarding our beloved Haiti. We need to love God, ourselves, love one another love our country. I am not going to waste time to answer these allegations, and vicious attacks against President Aristide for we know why they are made and who is financing these efforts. There is an ongoing campaign to portray us as stupid people who can't govern themselves who need the white savior to come to rescue.

It is a real conspiracy against the first black Republic as President Roosevelt said Haiti is a bad example for his 29 million negroes. It is also a way to keep us busy, to distract us from focusing on real isues. Folks let's remain focus, let's prepare our biccentennial. let's work toward getting our money back from France. Restitution should be in our daily conversations. I was so shock to hear an actor from the foreign made opposition  in Gonaives asking the Americans to come occupy Haiti. They raise their American flag and try to apply what they've learned from their foreign advisors who are guiding them into how to best destroy Haiti. The battle will be very long but by the grace of God we wshall overcome. 

Tibobdenazareth who are right on target my brother. Like Kreolbro and few others on this site you make sense. It's obvious that your brain functions well. Apparently your are free from mental slavery.

Daniel, if you are in Haiti and are able to think so objectively and so highly of our problems, I'm telling you brother ... you are one in a zillion.

If you hold a bone in your hand, you can make a dog break his neck by moving the bone around in the air. The dog will be so occupied with the temptation that he will even disregard any real meat somebody will put around him.

Allegorically, that's what's happening to a lot of us. Aristide is the bone the western devil is holding and we are bleeding our brains to go after him (to destroy him or to cherish him; it doesn't matter). Meanwhile, the real evil is doing its work. Un-noticed and un-bothered.

We are all victims. Aristide is the most visible one, but that shouldn't make a vilain out of him. It's true he's no saint, just like the most innocent among us. But the real issue is not him. I am 100% certain he would DISPLAY a better presidency if the sharks were not on his tails. And since we're so busy seeing his reaction to the bites he's taking from the beast, we're myopic to the real root of his mascarades.

Nous avons pour trop longtemps pratiqué la politique de l'oppositionnel. It's highly time for us to try "celle  de l'intelligence et de l'amour-propre". We are being staged by the white western world to send a strong message to history: BLACKS CAN DO NOTHING GOOD! And in their destructive campaign, they had found so many accomplices even among us ... it's really sad that we've helped them so much accomplish their malevolent goal against us.
