Why don't you lead the way and come with a plan, you never know everyone may follow otherwise you're in no position to tell anyone that we're sitting behind a keyboard, because you took a sit next to everyone else.

Personaly all of us are doing small talk including myself, none of us come up with a plan yet.

I already told the forum I had a plan...I do have a plan and honestly I need alot of help...I need alot of you to help me, alot of everyone...this plan is what I think of as the Diaspora plan...I will dedicate everything I have to this...I have already sacraficed things that a normal 26 year old yearn for because I beleive in this...this is changing my life and I am going to live it even if it takes me straight into a cardboard box and a blanket...

like I said before, I dont mind sharing my plan, I welcome critisizm, suggestions, anyone who's already working on something who just wnat to exchange ideas and work together...I welcome it all...email me jjacques@saveourhaiti.org and I will email you back with details of what I have in my vision and everything surrounding it...even if you are not going to take a step just email me, tell me what you think, give me opinnions, suggestions, ideas, anything is worth something even a thought....

jjacques@saveourhaiti.org and this goes to the people that are running the site reading this...you are obviously involved and are doing a great job linking us together...we are all in the same struggle, so hear me out, you never know what I can bring to your table...you dont have to work with me, but if you see something valuable in my statement, just take it as yours, use it and do it as long as it's to help Haiti...

Ape_man, I am with you. I like that. I will email you so we can discuss further. I have a lot to share too and joining our efforts will considerably be more beneficial to Haiti.

And I KNOW you can count tijou in too.

To the 'guest' on the previous page - I wasn't comparing the work of our heroes to our mere posts on this site. What an absurdity that would be! I was only infering that they had also encountered doubtful slaves or non-believers when it comes to convincing them regarding the immensity of their liberation enterprise. That doesn't mean that our posting can even come close to their deeds.

Nonetheless, my friend, you have to see things with a very analytical and objective mind. That's what I call "comparative history". Our independence came after 3 centuries since Las Casa started to bring black Africans to the island. Yes, it took 3 centuries of slavery before we could have heroes for our freedom. The way we refer to them sometimes insinuates that our heroes started their liberation plan the next day they were sold as slaves. No, it took them 300 years to pull up their successful fight in Vertières!

Needless to say that a lot of TALKING was involved during those centuries. To make an oppressed people conscious of their state and convince them to take all chances against a 300-year-old oppressor is no joke! The fight was more psychological than military. That's why decades and decades of TALKING happened before they felt confident to launch the massive insurrection in 1803.

It is a big mistake to overlook "TALKING". Every time this term is used on this site, it bears a pejorative connotation as if TALKING is a waste of time. If you guys think that TALKING is just TALK, you have no clues what it takes to fight. No combat in history -from the most trivial confrontation to the most complex fight- is won without a lot of TALKING before and during the battles. A good general is not one who shows its batallions how to best shoot. He's one who can motivate them far beyond their conscious morale with WORDS even when they lose their weapons to the ennemy!

Consequently, the fight to deliver Haiti can not be all talk, but A LOT OF TALKING is needed to empower people's morale. Particularly during these times where discouragement appear to be so erosive to our will to fight. The actual doing is the final stage of good planning. And no plan is viable unless there's a lot of talking to motivate the combattants.

What we're doing on this site may be minuscule to your eyes, but believe me, you have no idea how many have changed their attitude toward Haiti for the better. You don't know how much fire has been revitalized just by reading some of the fiercest patriotic speech on the threads of this site.

Personally, I thought I was in a lone trip when it comes to my determination to help my country. After I've read a few posts, I was convinced that Haiti has more hope than I tought before I came here. Never minimize the power of TALKING. To the religious and mystical one, the world was created through words. To the leftist revolutionary, TALKING is all they possess to base their movement since they have no other resources to gain access to power.

Let's take for example Ape_Man, doesn't he surprise most of us that he is such a patriot? His posts most of the time would lead to the contrary. However, the guy is full of life for his country and sometimes we say ugly things exactly because we have a fire burning inside of us and it's frustrating that we can't do what we ought to do with it. More power to you Ape_Man. Like I said, you can count on me.

Also my friend 'the guest', I don't think it's appropriate to say that everybody you're reading is all talk. You just don’t know the real people behind the usernames. Do you expect everybody to list out everything they've done for Haiti so you can give more credibility to their words? If you ask me, I'll tell you. With a lot of reserves of course, because some info about what I've already done for Haiti may unveil sensitive secrets that may be harmful to me later.

Remember, this site is not a platform where everybody reports what they've done so far for Haiti. I am not just talk and I won't brag my continuing achievements. The problem is that our country has so many needs that it's barely noticeable what its good children are doing for her. If all of us do the same, then the result will be more visible. In that sense, I come to this site to encourage people to do the same as me and to tell those who are already doing better than me to keep on going.

On another note, guest, I confess that I took some offense to your post. I thought you were deriding and making fun of me. Your last post clarified your intent. Sorry. But understand that Plan Z is NOT a plan. It just happened when one runs out of plans. We still have plans. I have plans and some of them are already in the cooking. I don't know what I should tell you but rest assured that the history of my country will not be indifferent to my name -not for what I am but for what I'll keep on doing until my last sigh.

hey Tibo...I got your email and I will deliver the plan to you tonight...I have two emails from people that want to see the plan...one of them I dont think is from this site actually but that's good...thanks for the email, we definitely have alot of things to talk about

I agree with you about talking, it's very necessary...very...people dont understand that every big step takes a whole lot of talk...even if the talk doesn't seem to go anywhere, someone will take it to heart and make the first move...

about the guest thing, I was one of the guest who replied to you...I was the last one that said dont compare our talk to what was done 200 years ago...I accidently posted that without logging in...nonetheless you really made your point clear with the 300 years before action explanation...you are absolutely right, it's hard to think that deep sometimes, but it's true, it took years before a leader arose out of the bunch and started movements that would lead to the independance...I am glad you opened my mind up to that

You are right about everything you are saying...I am not one that is ashamed to admit when I am wrong...and I am glad you admit you took offense to my reply to you and that you see now where I come from, this is the kind of communication this forum needs...what urked me at the beginning was that everyone loved jumping down your throat without getting a feel for what you say...and once their mind was made up about you that was it...I told you all I am not a quitter and one day you will see what I am about...Flambert knows me in here and so does some other people from other forums like Haitianconnection, so once they figured out who the Ape Man was they knew that I often get my foot stuck in my mouth but they know my intensions are never negative...

I am only spending so much time online because of my love for Haiti and Haitian people...if you go to my job, you will see a Peurto Rican guy and a Black American and two white Americans and also recently a Guyanese girl that know more about Haiti then alot of Haitians, because all I do is sit on the internet researching, teaching, talking about Haiti, they often look at me in amazement and say things like "you really love your heritage dont you" they were all rooting for me to go back to Haiti for the first time in 17 years since I came here, and were all dissapointed the other day when I told them I wasn't going...they bother me every day about showing them Haiti, the black American is very deep and loves black history and you should see him asking me to take him to Haiti so he can see and feel the people...I thought he was joking but the other day he was trying to figure out how he could take the trip with me...he even put me on to Earth Shuttles which I knew nothing about...he told me when my foundation makes it to consider showing the people how to build earth shuttles and he would help me cause he's interested in building them himself...these folks never knew what a Haitian was until I got in that job, it's me and an American born Haitian that represent Haiti at this company and he loves the fact that he has someone to connect with that knows so much about Haiti, I think otherwise judging from his character he'd never say he was Haitian...bottom line, people are rooting for us, if we teach them and tell them our history and what have gotten us this far, they will back us, even if they dont get their hands dirty, we'll get moral support...but we have to do the leg work, the muscle work, it's our cause...

and no Ape was never here to put down Haitians, I speak on emotions and the reason I do is because I am Haitian, it's in me to act on my emotions...that's how we get down...if I offended anyone, I appologize, but know that I came here with a message, a plan and lots of love for all of you....

Tibob, I'll get at you later....1
