Hah monche... how many sad songs we gonna sing about Haiti. We all are well aware of Haiti's situation. We guess what? there nothing we can do for Haiti, its to late...

So you can go ahead sings those pointless songs all you want....

its time we sing happy songs, its time we plan things, its time we plant trees, its time we act...

just can't stand these pointless songs. Instead of uplifting our spirits, we got hit with those senceless, hopeless, sh*tty, breakdown songs...

I just hate these songs and the responsible parties..

SADNESS = Obcurity, pessimism, hopeless, shame

WE are not a happy nation, all we do whinin about our miseries .

" PEYI NOU PAP TONBE"  IT WON'T WHEN WE STOP WHINING ...

BEGIN DOING....NOT HOPING

STOP SINGIN' THOSE POINTLESS SONGS...we have enough artists doing that already...

i AM NOT PLAYING TIBOB...

WOOOHHW  guest, it seems that you're so anxious to do something positive that you take everything out of context as an excuse for you to brag your nationalism. I'm glad for you but don't go crazy with your judgement.

I composed more than 100 songs already. I only told you about just one song! How can you make such comment and even dictate to me what topics I should sing about? One song out of 100 songs is 1% for your math!

You should go read my books, listen to my CDs and you will see I'm not WHINING. Yo should also talk to me about my actions for Haiti, then you will know of my personal achievements, the latest being the constrution of a new university in Haiti: "L'université de l'excellence haïtienne". But I can't be hypocritical and not sing the ugly and the painful. That's what an artist is. NOTHING GOES UN-NOTICED!

And by the way, it seems that you have no real knowledge of our Haitian diaspora. Do you think that everyone knows about Haiti's situation? Do you think that everybody who knows about Haiti's situation is willing to make a step for change? How many Haitian-Americans, born in the US know about Haiti's recent beautiful past?

That's why we have artists, writers and motivational leaders out there to inform those who do not know about Haiti and to make those who do know about Haiti do something.

We don't have enough artists doing everything I've been doing ... AND I'M NOT PLAYING, GUEST (I Like you, by the way)

I totally agree with you tibobdenazareth- you are amazing! It is people like Guest, that is holding us back haitians in every aspect. It's seems like  he or she is the one that is whinning to me.  Anyway don't give up because I see the light in you. Remember,The  candle light of intelligence can't burn with the wind of ignorance! Learn that Guest.

Maybe we should just have Coolp make a brag board. That way people can blab about themselves all they want and it is contained in ONE area.

I do

I am

I sell

I promote

COMMERCIAL

A notification of something relavent is ok but post after post of self praise is too much...

Who cares about your 100 corny songs. Claimin' to know what's going on in Haiti, man go sitdown somewhere... Why do you think we need you to bring us the news...who ar you tibob, the messiah? The only thing on your mind is your CDs and your books.

"L'université de l'excellence haïtienne". what? I bet you name it after yourself.

Tibob, I personally don't care about your books, or your 100 songs you're trying to sell. No I'm not gonna buy any.

I support TiBob 100% and I don't think he was trying to promote himself, he had to say all that in response to the ignorant views of Guest-  Who cares you are not going to buy his books or cds, I don't  think you would understand them anyway-  Tibob holds a Phd- do any of you even have a high school diploma? well it is his fault anyway, he should not have introduced his high achievements to such of low class people- you guys are not ready for that.  The rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer, that is also true  when it comes to knowledge.  You guys are like somalia when it comes to knowledge I can tell because you fail to recognize the food of knowlege to noushish your "kwachoko" brains.  Ti bob Nuff said - say no more much respect to you, because I have only  overheard some of your songs and read your biography and I'm overfed already, I can't wait to purchase all of your books.

Much love ! I love you all!

Guest, I'm sorry if the very mentioning of a few accomplishments provokes so much animosity for somebody who has but love in his heart for everybody. I'm not trying to promote anything about me.

If you're learning some of my achievements JUST NOW it's the proof that I don't brag. Singers MUST brag to get attention; it's just the nature of the Haitian entertainment business. I've never done it myself, even as the lead singer of D'zine while I have a lot to say. That's probably why you don't hear my name at every corner of petty discussions.

My artist friends -Alan Cave, Dzine Crew, Gracia Delva, Youyou, etc...- are always questioning me about how I manage to silence myself after so many accomplishments. Thta's my very first time being accused of bragging. But, that's understandable.

Most of us have so much adversity in our hearts that it hurts us to hear anything good about somebody else. If I was telling about my weaknesses -I have plenty- you would compliment me of being CONSCIOUS (misye se yon nèg ki gen konsyans). Now that I've only said something about my strengths -I also have plenty- you are condemning me of being IMMODEST (ala nèg dyòlè! kòm si fòk ou san konsyans pou w pale byen de tèt ou).

The reason is simple, because of our lack of love -given and received- we tend to disgust the positive in others. Well, all I can do for you is pray and love you until you realize a person like me is always on your side.

beautecajou, thank you for your understanding (and don't go too harsh on the guest, he/she needs more love than anything).

beautecajou, Many apologize my dear.. you are so right many of us are brainless... and can't reconognize truth and knowledge when beat over the head with it. Tibob is full of information and that is cool... self-promotion isn't. We have a website full of very talented, capable WELL educated people who don't brag about their acheivements. Many try to keep them quite!

Nuff said.
