I'm sure they do , for the game have been around for a while, when i ask my cousins they told me they have it, but didn't think anything of it, well they young to them it's just a game.

Coolp, let us know what is the website doing about it.  The same way they took the Gettho monopoly of the shelves, they should do the same.

"Man, this game just sounds all messed up! Pitting ethnic groups against each other like that. Alright, so we know it happend in real life sometimes, but why reinforce it with a game. We all need to get together and go after this company!!"

"CoolP! Where's that petition you were talking about? I'm ready to sign."

In general, they are pitting gangs against each other Negnwe.  It is not like they are shooting Haitian, Cuban or Columbian civilians. LOL I would have been outraged with you guys. The thing is they all were gangs killing each other as in real life.  Doesn't the ZOE pound or some Haitian gang in FL rival the Cubans in trafficking or car theft?  If this game is to be protested, it should be protested on the basis that it is very violent and tends to glorify murder generally.  I don't know how many games don't but hey....go get em.

CheminFlambert relax my brother! We like to read your comments but like many have said earlier we will take action. We will continue petition, grassroots, legal, public opinion, built coalition with  organizations promoting non violence. We must get up stand up! let our voices heard, find a way to discourage this shameless demagogue named Sam Houser who thinks that it's cool to exploit people. The gang issue specially the new immigrants is a serious one that educators, religious leaders, law enforcement and other professionals need to address. Earlier today on Moment Creole WLIB 1190 AM in NY Stanley Barbot, Dr. Henry Frank, Pastor Lesly Thomas and others were discussing the situation. Unfortunately it was time for me to go worship my Lord I did not have the chance to listen to them. I believe Haitian Times will voice their opinion and concerned people will help out. To me this unfair, cruel and patently discriminatory. Thank you Arnold Diaz's CBS, Shame on You Producers, thank you to all who pledge their support in this upcoming battle. Let's organize for legal action.

wow...though I never played the game long enough to get to Little Haiti, I actually brought this game only because I heard there was Hatians in it...I then played it and never kept interest long enough to see the Haitians...now I realize what a mistake I made...

Actually I dont know if I would mind it at all really...Vice City is just a game...the one before it was killing Jamaicans and Italians etc...in there I think there's a part where you help Haitians kill Cubans...my question is what is the difference between this game and a movie like "Bad Boy 2" which I am sure alot of you went to see and enjoyed?...the movie made Haitians look like a bunch of craze cowboys who are possessed by demons...worst they are supposed to be this criminal enterprise that live in huts full of skulls adding further to the misconceptions of our voodoo religion...why are we protesting a video game and not this movie?...the game is more innocent...there have been many games where your duty is to attack a group of people...I dont see the big deal

The big deal with vice city is that it negatively portrays Haitians. In addition, the language of "kill the Haitians" is dangerous to the welfare of Haitians at large. When we see depictions of Italian mafia, we do not see them saying "kill the Italians." Instead they say we have a hit on such and such person or such and such gang.

Vice City was recently brought to my attention by "Shame on You" Thurs. 6 Nov on CBS. Since this issue was RECENTLY brought forth on such a media station reaching the NYC metro area, we must act quickly against such defammation against Haitians. In things of this nature, it is all about timing.

I did not see Bad Boy II b/c it had bad reviews. I am not even sure if it made as much profit as expected. However, if you were offended by Bad Boy II, you should have taken up action at the time you learned of the offense.

I am not sure if the timing for that movie is still good. However, I am sure that vice city greatly profitted (more than 200 million) and the creators of the game (rockStar) plan to sell another game related to Vice city.

Until rockStar faces that what it did was wrong, I don't want it to be supported economically with any of its products.

I guess you are right...I have seen things like this with other nationalities in the past and if we dont stand for it, then it wont stop in the future...

Well I brought the game...I heard there was Haitians in it...i dont play video games much but from the little I played of it it's rather entertaining...perhaps in their next version they will tone down the racial stuff...

Bad Boys II was trash, dont bother go see it...if we are fighting this I think we should fight that as well, even if the movie didn't make it big in the theaters remember it's still going to be a hot pick on video...

hey this petition can have my moral support...I cant sign cause I brought the game and once I have a chance I will play it so I can make it to little Haiti and honestly but sadly, I will probably have to shoot some Haitians in order to make it to the next level...

I love the unity, but I dont really want to fight this...I dont think it's that serious really...how many movies have we watched when we were rooting for the Americans to kill the japs...the Italians to wak the jewish prick, the cowboy to kill the Indians, the whites to kill the Africans...bottom line, this is not as bad as those movies...this is a game...a game where the sole purpose is not to kill Haitians...it's just one of the missions...you have to kill red necks, Cubans, in the earlier version Jamaicans and Italians...the only reason they added Haitians to the game is because it's based in Miami...if we fight his then we must fight Bad Boy 2, fight Bad Boy first because that one you can actually see Haitians getting a bad image, worst they were played by Haitians...

It's a game people...but that's just my take...you have my moral support, but I cant sign petitions if I'm playing the game behind close doors...and to be honest, Vice City is the main reason I got a PS2...one day I will play it, one day I will...
