Is there an official schedule of activities and celebrations in Haiti for the bicentenial?

CoolP, I know you have a trip scheduled, do you know of anything planned by the government or other groups.   Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You

The Americans, the French and some fake ass haitians are trying to make us feel ashamed of celebrating our 200th birthday.

Well I got news for them, 200 years ago we kicked some white ass and we're going to celebrate it regardless of Haiti's current socio-political and economic problems.  Even if Haiti died and ceased to exist, I would still celebrate that ass whiping till the day I die.

Happy Birthday to that very first dechoukaj.....we still need a few more.

Adyeeeeee gade ayisien mezanmi lol. This is supposed to be a happy post. Antouka Ayiti ap passe mize and everybody is confused. Tout moun ap mande pou kisa nou nan karkar nou ye jodia. Mwen pa kwe nan fetè le moun ap mouri grangou nan peyi ahn men mwen toujou ka di HAPPY BIRTHDAY AYITI!!!

Mwen swete apre 200 zan nou ta apran kijan pou nou devlope'w.  Our ancestors didn't have the same intentions during the revolution, and the division lived and still lives until today.  I hope after Jan 1, 2004, we realize that it is in every Haitian's interest for us to unify and develop our country.

The wealthy elite class will be wealthier if Haiti does better, the Middle class will have a better chance of maintaining their status or climbing into the elite class with a stable Haiti. The poor...the poor will be able to jump from poor to Middle class or even to the wealthy elite class...if only the country becomes a democracy.
