I don't know what to say or how to feel anymore. I'm at the end of my patience when it comes to my beloved Haiti. Lavalas...Opposition...I don't even care anymore. This was supposed to be a glorious year for Haiti, but we're spiraling ever downward. No one has any solutions....but I still love my country and find it very hard to give up on it.

I spend day after day trying to show people the merits of Haiti, but everytime I turn around, I only read about protests, students being shot in the streets, car jackings, etc...

Someone, anyone, please say something that will show some positive light. I don't know why, but I am taking this personally and I, as well as our country, need some support. What the f**k to we have to do to get our damned act together. We're the freaking laughing stock of the entire world!

200 years of independence....so what...look where we are now. The worse part is not one of us has a freaking answer. Excuse my language and my bluntness. The stuff that I am reading and seeing is really depressing right about now.

I know how you feel, kokorat, I am 18 years old and i have been out of haiti ever sence i was 5 yrs old, i loved haiti all my life, haiti is the place i wnated to go after my education years were over but now It's just look like haiti is falling apart, you know if i were the president of haiti right now i would most defenetly, take haiti turn it up side down in the carabbean sea and wash all the bad stuff out then turn it over.

It's like our people cannot put there head together, they all want to be better then the other or they just don't give a crap about the others back there because they think they will never need haiti again but you know our flag says, "'union fair La Force" and our contry is weak because we as a union cannot put our heads together to give our country power, The united states for example always wants whats best for their union it doesn't matter if the president they have is not the one they need they just wants what is best for there country.

So to me for Haiti to change we as haitians need to change also, it doesn't matter if you are lavalas or opposition all that matter is that we all live in peace. we were the first black country to win our independence in the Americas, because our fore fathers put their heads together to get us out of slavery, they had one goal and after they did that goal they actualy split up, lit us have one gaol also to became the Island of pearls again.

I know some of you will not understand what i mean when i say some of these and you know what we won our independence from france but not from our selves.
