You would have to ask him "what was the name of the current president in 1976?" if you want the answer to be Aristide.
Without that "the current" you are again talking about the president in 1976 which was Jean Claude Duvalier.
The goal in any exchange is to communicate not to trick; you must be as precise as possible. Otherwise it becomes a juvenile game; I think we are above that. The inability to ask a question properly is equally fustrating as the inability to answer.
