What a combination huh?! :) Well my father is from Les Cayes, and my mom is from Hawaii. I seem to lean torwards my Haitian side more though, DON'T GET ME WRONG, I love being part Hawaiian, it's just that when people ask what my ethnicity is, I tend to know more about Haiti and say Haiti first. I lived in Haiti for 2 years and it's very different than America, but I love them both, (Hawaii too!)! I have just joined HaitiXChange and I wanted to post a topic for the first time, so here's my topic question: Coming back from Haiti, to America again, was definately a huge culture shock. Does everyone that comes back from Haiti have culture shock because everything is so darn different compared to each other???? Je suis Americaine, mais mon pere est d'Haiti, donc je suis tres PROUD to be Haitienne!! (hahaha) Au Revoir!! PEACE!! one love.
