Unfortunately, Carla, some people in this site tend to generalize a culture. They fail to understand that in every culture, there is always a bad apple. Indeed, a person might have a bad experience with a Haitian guy, but that doesn't mean that all Haitians are bad. I am glad that your view is otherwise.

We cannot generalize all Haitian men to one specific stereotype. However, in my lifetime, I have yet to meet a Haitian men that is faithful. I am not saying that they do not exist, I just have not met one. In fact, I really think that some Haitian men think that it is ok to have multiple women. But, they are hard working, they will take care of their girl, children, etc.... I have never dated a Haitian guy  so I am only speaking through second hand information.

my mother did tell me to look out for haitian girl in the state cause they don't really know what haitian men have to offer.  to all your who is looking for nice one keep on looking and you will find one. 

"Men and Women of a culture's attitude reflect on each other" you are what you get. 

In every culture that you go into there are guys that beat their wives. To sterotype that all Haitian guys are abusive, I think that is out of the question.  Wether you are black, white, hispanic, asian, etc. . I believe that  from every race on the face of this earth there is an abusive guy out there.

I believe that  guy who abuses their wife,  girlfriend ,or anything of that nature is a coward!!!!!!!!! They use abuse as a way to express themselves. Wether it would be verbally,physically, and emotionally. It is totally wrong. Macho. No I don't think so. Whatever the circumstances maybe. It should not be done.

One thing I know is that all men are jealous.  It is us as women that have to know what we want in life, and we have to know how to respect ourselves also.  Men like to test us to see what demention that we are on.Something I know about us women is that no matter what shape,size or color there is a man out there for you. To each is own.  We women are beautiful creatures.  No doubt about that.

There are good guys and there are bad guys. Don't judge a book by it's cover until you have read what is between the pages. For some that does not always work. Do what best suites you.

Hey I just want to say to all you ladies out there, not all haitian men are bad. I am a 22yr old white/caucasion female from St. pete, Florida. My Fiance' is from providence, Haiti. He is a very special very beautiful humanbeing. He is very good to me, and very faithful. I have had my share of not so good haitian men in the past, I got pregnant by one and had a miscarrie! He denied ever wanting anything to do with it, He cheated on me, and he was the most seductive liar. I learned my lesson, but I always kept telling myself that every man is different no matter what culture, race or ethnic status. Ladies and gentlemen the problem with realationships boils down to lack of communication with eachother, if you trully love somebody, you should always be able to talk to eachother about your feelings, decisions, emotions, thats where the foundation of trust comes from, always talk to eachother, dont walk away from eachother for true love is more valuable than gold!!. My fiance and I have great communication not only do we love eachother, we are eachothers best friend!. Ladies listen to me when I tell you a man is rich according to what he is, and not what he has!. Best love and wishes to all. He's out there!!!.
