While I agree the Guest's coment is unpolished and not politically correct, it is no different than the many "what if" questions that are repeatedly asked on this site.
Looking at history and the failure of any black led society to create an environment that would sustain intellectual and economic growth, one can't blame the guest for stating the unthinkable. White minorities where able to create thriving economies in Rhodesia and in South Africa. In the Americas, the more white controlled a country is the better are its economic performances. The white minority elite in the Dominican Republic is responsible for that country's remarkable growth over the past decades. The Ivory Coast once a West African success story started on a downward course with the departure of the Europeans and the death of their "dictator".
Maybe, just maybe if Haiti had a sizable white minority instead of the current mulatto/arab elite, there might have been some hospitals, universities, large agricultural farms, roads , ports, and other institutions worthy of the name.
Yes the black Haitians would probably be at the bottom economically, but that would be no different than the present situation. At least there would have been some structure that would allow for some upward mobility. The sad fact is that blacks are at their best economically when living under white rule.
As for Dr. Farmer, many Haitian doctors or group of doctors could have started a similar project. Unfortunately, the "negro" mind is limited; it can follow, it can memorize the bible and recite every page, it can imitate. It has not shown an ability to create, to rebuild, to make intellectual leaps, to scientifically search.
Are some races or cultures superior to others in certain areas, maybe..maybe not. One thing is certain looking at history, the African has definitely not performed as well as the European or Asian.
While I agree some of the guests are simply rude, lets not silence the whole group; they keep the site raw and entertaining.
