I mean, there are so mny good things about Haiti that many people don't realize because they always think of it as the worst country ever. I want people to really think before they say anything about Haiti, The country of my birth.

I agree, Haiti is a beautiful. The media only show the world the worst parts. We should do something about it.

I think the poster above got it right. If I had a dime for everytime I read "Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphehere..."

I would be able to quit my job!

Let's face it, using all objective indications, such as literacy, healthcare, nutritional intake, housing and roads in the Western Hemisphere Haiti comes last.  The nagging nickname of being the Poorest Nation in the Western Hemisphere is not someone invention.  It's based on facts.  The question is what can we do (you do) to turn this sad situation around?

No question, you can be very beautiful, yet very poor.  Consequently beauty and poverty are two different words.  I bet you it would be extremely nice if Haiti can be both beautiful and prosperous.  Can we make it happen!?   Aha! now you get a challenge ahead of you, can you handle it?

I posted a forum title "Lets ask Pascal" and many people viewed it and few  respond.   It seems to me only a few people are willing to take action and make everything from the above come true.  We can't just talk and not act.   Thats what the generation that came before us did.  "Pale mete La" . Look at our country, beautiful but poor.  Its image and name has dirt all over it, people do and say things that we don't like, but many are reality and the truth.

Let your ideas be known and promote the idea until it becomes reality.

no matter how much we complain and  put down our country down, change wont ever come about.

 okay,

let's view this, we are govern by a government which is selfish

he makes promises and does not deliver.

whatever profit that the country intake the citizens do not partake in that

the president says that he is a democratic,

i don't think he knows what democracy  means.

there are so many wrongs in need of fixing

but it always seems to be a lager deal than what it should be.

let's have some kind of sympathy for the country it not the land's fault

but it's rulers.

haiti is a beautiful country thats true but the people of haiti keep messing it up. lets take the aiport for a minute wow what a place to welcome someone the place is dirty. the authority in there thy all about scammin people. lets talk about the haitians in there cant act for sh*t. the last time i went to haiti after 20 years. very bad experience i dont think i would ever go back again . these 2 dudes were fighting right in front of me for what. just because he was here first some guy try to cut in front of him.   I think you are right, but that shouldn't be something that would stop you from going to your country. you should think of away that you can bring some change into it.

All we do is talk and say, we need to do something for Haiti while many of us that all we do.  Point out the problem offer a solution but never willing to let the solution be manifested.

Can someone please recommend me something to calm down my nerves, cause I’m not a happy camper.

We are new blood with new views and new ideas.  Lets use them!
