I CAN NOT FIND A REASON MAY BE BECEAUSE 200 YEARS AGO HAITI DEFEATED THE GREAT NAPOLEON BONAPARTE .

to the above guest thanks for the info , i think that's why .they saw us ( haitians ) as a bunch of trouble makers . defeating the whites was a glory and a mistake .

So what??? we have also made ourselves vulnerable to their sentiments by sending our youths to be educated by them in their countries right after we fought and defeated them. We also value their literatures, arts, languages and have tried so damn hard to emulate their lifestyles that we look pathetic. No wonder, we might as well have stamped a sign on our foreheads that says " we're so confused with our indepence, please come back to give us your guidance" How you gona whoop someone's ass, embarassing them in public, then want to ship your children to live in their house to be thaught? I mean, what did you expect them to teach your children upon their return to your land?.... To go home and to love you, to honour you, to tell your offsprings how good it was of your Black ancestors to have straightned out their own white ancestors with this unexpected publicly undeniable ass-kicking? "Oh, yes!! let us teach you children of Haitian descents better war tactics to better kick our buttocks, next time. We hate ourselves and our ancestors so much for having enslaved your Black African ancestors...Thank you for making us better people by beating our army"
In spite of allthis, until today, many of us are still trying to emulate the nature of these old slavers....We reject our African selves and dream so much to have been of the white race. We slaughter and devalue our fellow Black people at every occasion that theyr ways or theyr presence would reflect to some of us of our real positions as as Black hue-man Being. That just makes some us feel so uncomfortable with our selves. Gotta wonder, if The ennemy has moved within, my friend, just like the plot in movie, The Manturian Candidate.
