To the Dominicans i know what you are made up. Did you defeat any super power army to get your independent? I know you are racist against Haitians especially los braceros en tu pais porque estas personas enriquecen tu pais. Porque ahora no quieres darles sus papeles necesarios para se hacen Dominicanos. Pienso que tienes problemas con Haitianos de color negra. Sabes que tu eres una mezcla de africanos/ gringos/indios. Good point Guest; Cubans, Dominicans, and Haitians are all culturally Afro-Latin.   But for all intent and purposes the current meaning of the term "Latino" refers to Iberian Latins,  Spanish and to a lesser degree Portuguese.      Haitians and French Antillans do not fall under that umbrella.

We have to deal with the accepted current usage of words, not the original or correct meaning.  In that sense, Haitians are not Latinos.
