Hmmm. Coconutxchange seems like someone is biting off of this site. Everything from the name with the X in the middle, down to the palm trees in the logo. |

I feel you Ape Man...
I feel you Ape Man.... this site is so elitist, that many find it hard to believe it as place where a member of the general public is welcome to participate in its forum. Se tankou fe'w siveye dyol ou le'wap pale if you don't write in unison, about a topic that serves the mindset of the few. Like I've heard before, it's borderline incestuous, where the practice of invalidating others is common, where obvious isolation and sidestepping is the ramifications. You could be ignored and turned into persona non grata, as if you've invaded a beehive in its rude stage. It totally disengages many potential new members from returning to post or from ever speaking forthright again... All that would seem alright if the words Xchange would not mislead so many into thinking that this a site where ideas could be freely exchanged, and where independent thinking could be respected by the intellects. Then again, many people often confuse ignoring someone with the act of respecting others.
Believe me I only say those things openly because I do like the site.

Saji, if I didn't have the type of character I do, I would have left this site from my first post...trust me, I chose the name Ape_Man only because I posted the first few threads as a guest and was constantly being ridiculed and called an Ape no matter what I said, instead of getting mad, I just signed up as Ape_Man because noone runs me away...this is a public forum where people of all races, nationalities and ages have access, I didn't crash nobody's party, this doesn't require an invitation so who is anyone to run me out?...that's what the attitude in here is...you almost feel like you are bothering people in here sometimes when you post in here as if you are not allowed...
In any case, I think this site's content is more damaging to Haiti's image then what the administrators are hoping for...this does nothing for Haiti but make you shake your head and think "this is why the country goes nowhere" and I can only imagine what outsiders think when they read the crap in here...
Anyway... www.coconutxchange.com you are free there to express yourself, but not free to go on rampages insulting people because we dont get down like that over there...it's all about love on CXC...I would love to see more Haitians join since right now we are outnumbered by Jamaicans but it's all in love still... |

yeah people !!!!!!
I agree with alot of comments......first of, Kevin Lyttle song has a compas vibe into it, so now if he is trying to play us let us prove his organization that we are stronger than what he and his organizers had thought of and not supporting him at all.........ditou........ditou...........
if all flags are visible and the haitian flag is unpresent then we need to do something about it........there are plenty of ways where we can echo our voice....but in this case, don't support him and his organizers and keep close watch of those who is trying to play Haiti... anyone who dares to have a video where they have the whole carribean flag floating all over without ever thinking about putting haiti flag on too is stricly disrespecting us, and Toussaint Lourverture ( the grandfather of Haiti). .... don't buy hi records and support those who support us........ let's keep our eyes open people........will catch them on Labor Day in Brooklyn........
