To Pascal and Other Haitian website operators:
I have been thinking about this ever since I see the numerous amount of Haitian websites on the internet, while it is okay for us to compete with each other for members ,visitors, and ad dollars,I also think it is important we start a webring where we could formally come together to discuss the various technical, technological, cultural issues that we can use the internet to move Haiti forward, and inform ourserlves and other nationalities of our great culture. Most of the sites on the net are within the Us with very few in Haiti, and Canada .Other countries such as France, The Bahamas, Martinique have totally none.We must come together to find solutions such as the Ht.domain name, increased ISP services in Haiti, computers in Haiti's colleges and secondary schools , internet techonolgies such as voice ip/ wi-fi, , webstream radio, and others.By starting this webring we should try to find ways to increase the use of internet of major communities in the US, Haiti who may not afford decent computers. As you know by discussing political topics an this website and others would not solve the issue , we must come together. As Pascal, since I observed that you are a visionary person, so I come to this website to get the idea going, and have a wider forum where we can achieve this task. Please , visitors who visit other Haitian websites ,contact the operators of those websites, and tell them to get going on the idea and contact Pascal on this website.I am going to list some major Haitian websites that we can contact to see where this may lead to. Futhermore, there are numerous Haitian students organisations streching from Florida to Maryland , they could also provide great help to the webring, Pascal I know you yourserl went to MIT, a major techonogical university , and there about 20 members on a Haitian club , they have the know how and understanding of the issues , I am talking that the major general public may not have . So we have minimal human resources , what we need is coordination, cooperation, organisation, and will to leap our communities forward wheter they be in Haiti, France, Canada, or the Bahamas. Please it is imminent that you personally contact the operators of those websites and let them abou this idea.Than you.
