All I have to say is that this conference was definitely worth it for me. The Carimi party was off the hook! They hardly ever stopped playing and I hardly ever stopped dancing. The babes were fly, there was no "dezod", people were well behaved. It was a good thing. Other highlights for me were the the pep talk by Reen Goddefroy (spelling?), the partyu with Wycleff, and the movie about Jean Dominique. It was all good.

And to that girl I met, yo call me, I lost your number. Remember, you met me next to the stage while Cleff was performing (I don't want to reveal my real name on this board.)

Peace.

Time is of essence, however, the conference was great.

Thank you all for coming, we hope you all found the conference memorable and were able to take back something special and meaningful to you. We also want to apologize for all the complications and thank you for your patience. A website is in the process of being formed for the bid for next year, so please begin to formalize your proposals.

Wishing you the best,

Haitian American Student Association/ UMass Amherst

I just wanted to say that the Conference was wonderful and inspirational. The workshops were well coordinated and it was worth attending. Most of the NJ folks missed the Carimi concert, but we had alot of fun at the next concert. UMASS did a wonderful job.

Haitian Students Conference???? The pictures make it look more like a Haitian Students Concert! I'm looking at pictures of rappers, people dancing, so on and so forth. Did y'all get stuff accomplished, or just party all weekend?

the Conference was very educational, i enjoyed learning about Haiti, Jean Dominique which i never knew who he was, or what his dream was for Hatian people. I was born in Haiti and grew up in Boston, I learn a lot... Wyclef was off the hook, and CARIMI WAS SMOKIN'.... GREAT THANKS TO THE STAFFS AT UMASS AMHERST.. "Wonderful JOB".....
