Hey,

Copa Grande in Randolph, main street, near the high schoo and the police station, can't miss it. They have haitian nights and stuff. Hope I help you a little.

I lived in Boston for a while when I was in college, and all I have to say is that although it's a great college town, it is wack when ti comes to the Haitian community. Montreal sees more haitian action than Boston.

Good luck in finding a good club. You might have to kep on hanging out with your Cape Verdean peeps.

Boston is whack for all type of clubbing....they close at 2:00AM.  Cambridge across the river closes at 1:00AM.  Providence is where we go to watch strippers.

There are no black clubs worthy of that name...only black nights.

There have been a few Haitian nights being advertised in the past years. Some claim a mixture of Compas, Zouk, Reggae, and African music. I have never been to one so this is second hand information.  If you are a zouk head, you will have to stick with the Cape Verdeans. They have adopted that style as theirs instead of their own "funana".

Good luck......

I don't think you'll find much ZOUK in New York either guest.

Well I said zouk but I just wanted the name of regular places to go on Friday or Saturday nights.  Not just every once in a while when a band is here.  Cape Verdeans are a weird bunch of people, I go w/my bf, listen and dance but I would like to be able to do that with Haitian ppl more.

I don't know anything about this area and as many Haitians as ppl say there are out here, I can't find a Fri.or Sat. night club to save my life.....
