Yeah, was this a real event? Show us some pictures or something instead of jsut promoting it all over the site. You should have contacted HaitiXchange or other web sites and tried to get some coverage or a story done.

Who performed? Was it well known Racine goups, or just random people from Los Angeles beating drums.

I'm goinf to be a the Mega Racine festival in new york this weekend and I know this LA thing cannot rival that!

Sorry, Los Angeles is not on my October agenda.

Also, why would I go all the way to LA to see what Roots Music is all about when I can stay here in New York, go to Miami, or even Haiti...all of which are much closer to me than LA...and see the real deal!

Guest;

The 5000 fans came to see just your band or a group of bands perform?

Is this group playing all types of music as a previous member posted or is it strictly a racine or vodou-rock band?

I went on the sites you suggested and found only more of the same; one person screaming about this band and no one replying.  No reviews, no pictures, no music samples.  Please direct us to any review anywhere.

Before making outragous claims about this band being second only to Tabou in representing Haitians; one question. Have you ever heard of Bookman Eksperyans, known by Haitians, large foreign following, only Haitian band ever nominated for a Grammy.

I am not trying to discredit or hate, I just don't understand the basis for your claims or the motives behind your constant advertising.  As someone suggested previously, contact CoolP and properly introduce us to this sound that has you so crazed.  Asking someone to fly to LA to hear some unknown band is simply ridiculous.

Guest;

Thank You, hopefully they will be on the parkway selling it.  I will buy it and listen to it.

As for Magnum Band, they did it to themselves. If people don't care for your sound, you have no choice but to fade away. I never cared for Magnum Band and I am not a fan of "Worldbeat".    I like Rock & Roll, Vaudou Rock, Racine, and Twoubadou.

If these guys play good Haitian music or some form of Haitian Rock, I am game.  If however they come up with some pan-african, pan-caribbean, or pan-latin-american sounds, I am out.
